Actress (1879–1959) from the famous Barrymore clan whose performance in None but the Lonely Heart earned her the 1944 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Early original sepia 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Barrymore in a winter wrap and muff, by Phillips Studio of Philadelphia, signed in black ink, “Ethel Barrymore 1901.” Toning and foxing to bottom border and edges of photo and old tape remnants to reverse, otherwise fine condition.
